We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the GDPR and only insofar as this is necessary for the operation of the stools Broadcast service. No tracking, profiling, or analysis of user behavior takes place. Your data will not be sold to third parties.

We store only data strictly necessary for operation: • Account data: stools.cc user ID, Twitch username, Twitch display name, Twitch profile picture URL, Patreon status and tier, admin status, ban status, registration timestamp, and Terms of Service acceptance timestamp. • Technical data: stream settings (resolution, bitrate), overlay configurations (scenes, elements, positions, properties), encrypted Twitch stream key, ingest stream key, automation rules. • Session data: httpOnly session cookie, language cookie. Stream content (audio/video) is never recorded, cached, or permanently stored at any point.

4. Cookies

The service uses exclusively technically necessary cookies: • "broadcast_session": httpOnly session cookie for authentication (lifetime: 7 days, secure in production). • "broadcast_locale": language setting (de/en). No tracking cookies, analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party cookies are set. No integration of Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or comparable services takes place.

5. Third-Party Services

The service interacts with the following third-party services: • Twitch (Amazon): relay of your stream, display of Twitch chat and clips in overlays. • YouTube (Google): embedding of YouTube videos in browser source elements. • Google Fonts: provision of fonts in the overlay editor. This establishes a connection to Google servers. • stools.cc: authentication and Patreon status verification. • Patreon: subscription status verification via stools.cc. We have no influence on the privacy practices of these third parties.

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. Sensitive data such as Twitch stream keys are stored AES-256-encrypted (CBC mode). Session cookies are httpOnly and marked as "secure" in production.
